Development Goals
1. Aims
The overall aims of the English Language Education curriculum are:

To provide a pleasurable learning environment for our students.

To arouse our students’ interest and build up their confidence in English learning.

To maximize students’ competence in English so that students can use the language as a tool for communication, study, pleasure and work.
2. School-based curriculum
The school-based curriculum is composed of grammar programmes, reading programmes and phonics programmes. School-based learning tasks and supplementary worksheets are designed by our teachers to supplement the textbooks and storybooks.
3. Language-rich environment
Our school provides a language-rich environment both inside and outside the classroom.

English Assemblies and English Corner activities are organised every other week. Students can learn English in a joyful and relaxing environment with the NET.

Students are encouraged to speak English with English teachers and English Ambassadors so as to practise their language outside the classroom. Students can collect stamps and get different prizes.

English prayers are used in the English morning assemblies.
4. Activities
We believe it is important to give opportunities to our students to learn English in different language environments. Therefore, there is a wide range of activities for students to participate in.
